教育的本质在于点燃，而点燃这团火焰的燃料，正是同学们对于世界的好奇心和探索欲。

在合肥一六八中学国际部，有一项从办学起延续至今的特色课程——全英戏剧课堂。自课程开创至今，已演绎过超二十部经典剧作。

从《汉密尔顿》中起伏的剧情，到《后妈茶话会》中爆发式的演技，从《小王子》里细腻的情感表达，到《新西游记》中极具创意的情节演绎，每一部作品背后的经历，都将成为同学们走向世界舞台的伏笔。

《有趣的课堂》第四期，让我们一起沉浸式走进全英戏剧的课堂，跟随戏剧指导老师Lanz，切身体会同学们如何在台词雕琢中突破口语表达的壁垒，深刻感受来自语言与艺术的盛宴。

Lanz：The first English drama club was established in response to the growing interest among students and exploring the world of English literature and performance arts.

 It started as a small initiative by a group of students and teachers who saw the potential of combining learning, language and creative expressions. With the support of the school, we were able to push through. 

（英文戏剧社的成立主要是为了回应学生对英语文学和表演艺术日益增长的兴趣。这个项目最初是由一群学生和教师发起的小型倡议，他们看到了将学习、语言和创意表达结合起来的无限可能。在学校的大力支持下，我们得以促成这个项目。）

It definitely holds a significant importance in the curriculum, because it provides a unique platform for students to express themselves to be creative and to develop their self-confidence and a deeper understanding and appreciation for cultural diversity. 

（全英戏剧社在课程体系中具有重要的意义，因为它为学生提供了一个独特的平台，让他们表达自己，发挥创造力，并培养他们的自信心和对文化多样性的更深层次的理解和欣赏。）

Lanz：Since it started, we had organized engaging activities for students. First, we held weekly workshop.In this workshop, we were able to learn basic acting skills, stagecraft, and script analysis. We also have annual drama competition that everyone really looks forward to. 

（自戏剧社成立以来，我们为学生组织了一系列丰富多彩的活动。首先，我们每周都会举办工作坊，让学生学习基础表演技巧、舞台艺术和剧本分析。此外，我们还每年举办戏剧比赛，大家都非常期待。）

For them, it's not just a way of entertainment, but it's actually pushing themselves, pushing their boundaries into discovering new roles and developing  their skills and talents in the field of acting. 

（对学生来说，这不仅仅是一种娱乐方式，而是推动自己，突破自己的界限去发现新的角色，并在表演领域发展自己的技能和才能。）

Lanz：Our English drama curriculum is designed as both flexible and inclusive. We emphasize on student-centered approach.

We give each member a say, to choose whatever story or play they wanna to and whatever direction they wanna takethe performance do.

 This is a new curriculum, but I believe that we had a good start, and I think we have something that we have to look forward to, and it's something bigger. 

（我们的英语戏剧课程设计灵活且包容。我们强调以学生为中心的方法，给予每位成员发言权，让他们选择自己想演绎的故事或戏剧，以及他们希望表演的方向。

这虽然是一个全新的课程，但我相信我们已经有了一个良好的开端，并且我们拥有值得期待的东西，一些更宏大的目标。

Lanz：Absolutely. I believe that our club is a multifaceted form of art. It offers benefits beyond just acting. 

It helps them improve their communication skill, public speaking skills, confidence, teamwork, expressing themselves in a creative and a very clear way. 

（当然。我相信我们的社团是一种多方面的艺术形式。它带来的益处远不止表演。它帮助学生提高沟通技巧、公开演讲技巧、自信心、团队合作能力，以及用富有创意且清晰的方式表达自己。）

Lanz：We understand that we have shy and uncertain students, so we employ several strategies for them to transition smoothly. 

We provide a safe, non-judgmental environment for them and feel safe that making mistakes is okay, and they can learn from these mistakes. 

（我们理解学生害羞且缺乏自信，因此我们采取了多种策略，帮助他们顺利过渡。我们为他们提供一个安全、不带评判的环境，让他们感到安心，认为犯错是可以接受的，并且能够从错误中吸取教训。）

Another method that we use was pairing them with more experienced members as their mentors and help them to become better at the field of acting. 

（同时，我们还会让他们与更有经验的成员配对，作为他们的导师来帮助他们在表演领域变得更好。）

每一次戏剧排练时的彼此探讨，每一次台前幕后的完美配合，所带给同学们的不仅是当下的体验和成长，更有未来成长路上不可或缺的勇气和力量。
